Of the total, more than 1,000 were foreigners. They made a tour of major hot spots in Nha Trang such as Dam Tron market, Ponaga tower complex, Long Son pagoda, and the Cai River. They also visited craft villages on the outskirts of Nha Trang City, enjoyed Vietnam’s traditional art performances and tasted local specialties. According to local travel agents, the number of visitors to Nha Trang has increased sharply for the past two days. All key tourist resorts such as Vinpearl, Hon Tam, Hon Mun, Hon Lao, Tri Nguyen Aqatic palace, Doc Let, the Hoa Lan Stream, Phu Dong entertainment park, Tran Phu beach and Thap Ba hot spring have been fully packed with visitors. The travel agents say that Nha Trang welcomes between 25,000-30,000 visitors every day on this occasion, Vietnamese people have four days off work, namely Southern Liberation Day (April 30) and May Day plus Saturday and Sunday.
Bahamas cruise ship brings visitors to Nha Trang
The Bahamas flagship Legend of the Seas anchored at Nha Trang port on May 1, bringing nearly 1,600 visitors and crewmen to the central coastal tourist city.
